Tests

BAER Testing - $45
CERF Screening with Dr. Acland - $25 for first dog; $20 for each additional dog
20/20 Blood Draw for Optigen Testing* - $10
CHIC Blood Draw - $10


For Optigen tests, fill out the above registration. Then, some time between 9/15 and 9/29 go
to the Optigen web site (www.optigen.com) to ORDER A TEST. Complete the necessary
paperwork and pay for the test. You will need a discount code to complete this paperwork.
The code for this clinic is ACDNS8929. Bring a copy of this completed paperwork with you to the clinic when you come for your blood draw. The veterinarian drawing the blood needs to sign it. Your blood and papers will be shipped to Optigen for you, and your results will be sent directly to you.

Please note we intend to have microchipping available during the health clinics for a mall
fee. Arrangements can be made the day of the clinic.


Dr. Acland is also interested in collecting data for a study on portosystemic shunts in ACDs.If you are interested in participating in this study or for more information on the 2008 Health Clinics in general

EDUCATION SEMINAR

Chris Zink Seminar, Tuesday September 30, from 7pm-9pm
Chris Zink, D.V.M., Ph.D., is a consultant on canine sports medicine, evaluating
canine structure and locomotion, and designing individualized retraining and
conditioning programs for canine athletes. She is the award-winning author of
Peak Performance: Coaching the Canine Athlete, Dog Health and Nutrition for
Dummies, and The Agility Advantage, and co-author of Jumping from A to Z:
Teach Your Dog to Soar and Building the Canine Athlete: Strength, Stretching,
Endurance and Body Awareness Exercises
. She has obtained more than 70
obedience, agility, retrieving, tracking, and conformation titles on dogs from the
sporting, herding, working, terrier, and hound groups.

Dr. Zink presents Coaching the Canine Athlete® seminars worldwide to rave reviews. Please join us Tuesday September 30th from 7-9pm to hear Chris talk about canine structure versus function as it pertains especially to herding and performance dogs. This
seminar will provide valuable information to owners, breeds, and performance
exhibitors of all venues.
$30 per person. This seminar is limited to human attendees only, no canines please.
